Nevada Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto sent out an email explaining why she refused to vote to end the federal government shutdown, saying she did not trust Sen. Mitch McConnell keep his promise to allow a clean vote on DACA.
“Mitch McConnell has consistently proved that his word cannot be counted on. Every single day that he fails to keep his promises, 122 DREAMers lose their protections and face the risk of deportation. DREAMers cannot wait. … She wrote. “Instead of working together on a bipartisan budget to protect DREAMers, provide health care for low-income kids, fund our military, address the opioid epidemic and provide relief to disaster victims, Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell would rather pit Americans against one another. This is no way to govern. In fact, it’s a disgrace, and it’s amoral.”
Instead, Sen. Chuck Schumer immediately announced that his previous agreement to fund a border wall as part of the DACA deal has been rescinded.

The only true Dreamers are the phonies that play that pity card for illegals, wanting us to believe we are abusing children because of the acts of their parents, not considering that the parents brought this on the children, no one else is or should be made responsible. Cortez-Masto saying ‘pitting Americans against one another’ is trite hypocrisy inferring that illegal immigrant residents are Americans in the sense of citizen residents of this nation, not so, especially those immigrants from nations separate from this hemisphere. There is a tenuous American status to those from Mid and South America but none call themselves American, they label themselves by the nation they come from, only those from the actual USA or those that have gained legal citizenship call themselves Americans. No one will see the day that immigrant Moslems call themselves Americans or even Moslem-Americans, their children born here become citizens by birthright but how many of the actual immigrants even bother will seeking citizenship, I’m betting damned few.
Remember, when there was a democratic president in charge and “conservatives” wailed about how he/the democrats were “destroying the dollar” and that it was out of his desire to ruin the standing of the country?
