How many car chase scenes go in a circle?

Just watched “Diamonds Are Forever,” the 1971 Bond film that was filmed partly in Las Vegas.

When the credits rolled credit was given to eight hotels — the Riviera, the Sands, the Dunes, the Landmark, the International, the Tropicana, the Mint and Circus Circus. Way smaller place back then. Not much to see outside the immediate vicinity of Fremont St. Even the Union Plaza wasn’t complete, just construction fence where it sits.
About the only way to do this was in circles.
I flashed on Sheriff Buford T. Justice (Smokey and the Bandit) at the end of the clip. It wasn’t in this dialog but I distinctly heard “Sumbitch” as he grabs the door and jumps in the car.
