So, according to that much-maligned 35-page opposition research posted online by BuzzFeed, Russian intelligence agents attempted to gather “kompromat” (compromising material) on both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton by eavesdropping and spying on both of them during travels to Russia and elsewhere.
While Russians certainly are and were capable of attempting to find material that could be used to blackmail Trump and Clinton, one must wonder about the utility of any such endeavor, since neither has ever been embarrassed about anything they have ever done or said — from bimbo eruptions to boasts about crotch grabbing.
Blackmail would be futile.

He should thank BuzFeed and CNN and every other press outlet that saw fit to bring out this prior to him taking office. That’s why it’s surfacing, I suspect. Intelligence community trying to save him from himself. All he has is whining about the media. Pathetic and no sign of any improvement coming. The conservative media ought to be slamming him.

It wasn’t 4Chan or Reddit.
It was anti Trump Republicans at first then it was Democrats. Both employed Chris Steele to dig up dirt on Trump they could use in a mudslinging campaign. The whole “report” is chock full of spelling and grammar errors along with totally unsubstantiated claims.
Could even be worse if some of the allegations made in this article are true. CIA trying to take control of the USA?

There are solutions to Trump. They involve reasoned strategizing and patient focus on issues people actually care about. Whatever those solutions are, venerating the intelligence community, begging for its intervention, and equating their dark and dirty assertions as Truth are most certainly not among them. Doing that cannot possibly achieve any good, and is already doing much harm.”
The whole article is relevant, I took from some of the conclusions. Ask yourselves, do you really want our “Intelligence Community” to be the defacto rulers of our country?
