And you thought jalapenos were hot?

Cooking peppers and onions on the grill’s side burner

I decided to make some salsa from the tomatoes, peppers and cilantro in the garden, but figured I did not want to heat up the kitchen. So I used the side burner on the grill.

I soon discovered I had to stand close to the fire to keep cool.

From the temperature of the tiles, I did not need to light the burner.

Good looking salsa Thomas; do you roast any garlic in there?

And, what kind of peppers? I like the Serrano’s; not too hot, but still a little kick.

You need a shade cover…it makes the grill a lot easier to use on days like today….

  3. Is the Pope a global warming acolyte? Of course there is garlic. Right you are, serranos and jalapenos.

It’s not “global warming”, it’s “climate change”, you know, like Mother Nature makes weather as she always has and will until the last boob that thinks man can cause significant weather changes. Man can no more make this Las Vegas weather cooler than it can warm up a cold winter wind.

Nothing like a good roasted salsa to put a great BBQ over the top.

Now that’s some common ground far right wing lunatics and far left wing lunatics can agree on.

  6. I don’t know…I’d be willing to bet nyp can dig up something contrary to say about it (salsa).

Good for you Patrick, Tom gave you a free bee and you let it go!
