Amodei paints a vivid portrait of ‘green’ jobs and Harry Reid

Appearing on Sam Shad’s Nevada Newsmakers Monday Rep. Mark Amodei of Nevada’s 2nd Congressional District made two strong points.

The first was about the inefficiency of “green” energy projects — how much they cost in taxes and power bills and how few jobs they create:

The second was on how Nevada is not a priority for Harry Reid:

The Nevada News Bureau filed a story on Amodei’s remarks and included some audio sound bites online.

Here is how it all got started in April with Reid browbeating NV Energy to purchase more “green” energy:

NV Energy says it doesn’t need more renewables. Who do you believe has Nevadans’ best interests at heart? Reid or Amodei? Let’s go to the polls.
