Editorial survey is back

Apparently someone at the local newspaper reads this blog, because today the editorial survey is back. But instead of being under “contests and promotions,” where they said it would be, it is under “hot topics” — right between a series on Alzheimer’s and Top Workplaces. You may be the judge of the appropriateness of that.

They only let you fill it out once now, but if you have several computers give those a try. On a mobile device or cell phone you have to scroll down to full website. Then hold your breath awaiting the results.

If you don’t mind re logging into every one of your secure websites again you could delete all your cookies. Or find the cookie the survey drops and delete it. This is where WIn7 stores its cookies.
    C:\Users\”usename here no quotes”\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies

You may find another folder with more cookies in it inside the Cookies folder.
This is much more difficult because none of the cookies are named clearly. In the past I have used the date added or modified to find specific cookies I want deleted.

  2. Steve says:

Chrome is easy to delete specific cookies.
Go to Settings, enable advanced settings, select privacy and click on content settings.
Select all cookies and site data. Search for the word “survey” or “constantcontact” you should find 3 cookies. Delete these and take the survey again. Use this process as often as you want to take the survey.

  3. Steve says:

I should add you will need to remove the two additional cookies found under the search “constantcontact” as well so a total of fivew cookies are removed to take the survey as often as you want.

Why bother with the survey, it won’t change their policy. I read Steve Sebelius’ article on Harry Reid, soft pedaling hardly describes it, a million refutations isn’t going to get the editor to change Sebelius’ love affair with the socialist progressive movement. Sebelius acknowledged Harry Reid had a setback but it doesn’t appear he’s aware that Harry learned a valuable lesson, Obama doesn’t need Harry Reid, his approval, his advice or his great wisdom.

  5. Sebelius’ column took so many twists and turns and backtracks and sidesteps that I have no idea where it wound up or what he meant to say, which, come to think of it, is not an uncommon occurrence.

He was trying as hard as could to defend Harry. Trouble is Harry is indefensible and will be sidelined on all major legislation from now on. In most things Mitch McConnell will be the senate negotiator and Joe Biden will fill in as needed. Harry will bluster and blather about his being the only way or some such garbage but he is done, all over save the singing.

That is my prediction, you should add this to your favorites and come back when I am proven correct.

May you be proven correct, quickly!

Harry Reidretracted because one of his staff clicking on all cylinders noticed his error. Stealing a bit from Dylan Thomas, Harry is not going gentle into that good night, he’s raging against the dying of the light. The dying light is the part originally planned for the Congress, but its function is yet to be decided, Obama will send VP Biden to tell them what that is in a couple of weeks,

  9. [...] is at least the second time the survey link disappeared. Do you think they really care what you [...]

More proof Harry is done. Nice corner office (with window and view) for him from now on.

  11. Steve says:

Now Harry fails to get his wish for “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington” style filibusters. Another indication Harry is no longer in control. Mitch McConnell negotiated it with Harry? Nah, Chuck Shumer pulled the strings. Remember, Harry got a pen…

    “By Denise Clay”

“Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is the most useless man in America.”

If you can suffer the body of the article, its really worth noting liberals are getting louder on this, almost daily now.

“And with that, Sen. Harry Reid becomes more useless than jello.

My hope is that this defeat makes President Obama do something that he’s tried to be kind enough not to do during his two terms…

I hope that this makes him decide that it might be time for a vote of “no confidence” for Harry Reid as Senate Majority Leader. Because if he doesn’t what happened yesterday is going to be the rule, and not the exception…”

When liberals start writing this stuff, it becomes even clearer Harry has been sidelined.
